Rocky Mountain Industrials Inc. (RMI) announced JHL Constructors Inc. completed the southern parcel for the Rocky Mountain Rail Park near Denver and will now focus on infrastructure and rail construction work on the northern parcel.

Located in unincorporated Adams County, Colorado, the 620-acre park will provide access to a Union Pacific Railroad mainline and offer both rail- and non-rail-served industrial zoned sites.

JHL began construction on the project's southern property in late 2021 and will continue working on the northern parcel through completion, which is anticipated in mid-2024, RMI officials said in a press release. The lots will be available for lease or purchase throughout construction in 2022.

The 470-acre northern parcel will feature significant private rail infrastructure — including up to 18 miles of rail — for both unit and manifest trains, rail-related ancillary services and large lot-size options, they said.

“[We] appreciate the continuity with phase two, making our vision a reality for the Denver market," said RMI CEO Brian Fallin.
