Located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the museum will host a number of events, including history tours and a party, UP officials said in a press release.
Operation Lifesaver representatives also will give a safety presentation to attendees, they added.
The museum preserves more than 150 years of railroad history — including the construction of the transcontinental railroad and UP's role in it — through artifacts, photos, documents and equipment. Exhibits include the Lincoln, Collection, which features artifacts from President Abraham Lincoln's rail car and funeral.
