Job description: Connie is responsible for engaging customers in developing the future of railroad operations. Connie works with rail industry personnel to introduce Railspire's rail- yard operations safety technology and cultivates lasting relationships with customers.

Why she's influential in technology: Connie has worked relentlessly to build strategic customer partnerships that have advocated new technologies to improve railroad safety. Connie has worked with customers to test and implement new technologies in rail-yard orchestration. Her professional relationships and leadership remain the driving catalyst for coordination between Railspire and railroad operators. To advance innovation at the company, Connie has helped introduce advanced remote control and autonomous rail operations to the industry. She also has worked on industry regulatory matters related to new technology: She assisted with the California Short Line Railroad Association's and the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association's efforts to halt the California Air Resources Board's in-use locomotive regulation; and she worked with the FRA to advance new rail technologies and the training of personnel in how to use those technologies.
