Recognizing the growing importance of technology for solving business and operational problems, Marcia founded Marine Tiger Technologies in 2010, becoming certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and a Women-Owned Business Enterprise. She has been president ever since.

She actively supports Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) and the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials through sponsorships and mentoring. Marcia has also championed women-owned businesses within WTS. She remains a participant in WTS's Executive Leadership and Women Business Owners Roundtables.
