Job description: Monica manages a team of 10 auditors who audit over $10 billion in freight spending for a multitude of Fortune 50/100/500 clients. A member of the executive leadership staff, she is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the rail audits team and the company as a whole.

Why she's influential as a leader: Monica's extensive knowledge of railroad operations, the Interline Settlement System and railroad billing has been critical to the success of the company's business. In the past five years, she has not only mentored a new generation of auditors, but her expertise has underpinned an over 100% growth in audit recoveries and a 30% increase in new rail client accounts.

Moreover, she recently completed a leadership course to refresh her skills for leading younger generations. External to AMTR, Monica's long-term relationships with railroad personnel boost the company's success. She works with the railroads for the benefit of mutual shipper clients. Outside of the office, Monica is a long-standing member of the National Industrial Transportation League and has served on its rail committee for over seven years.
